Established in 2001, Shri C. H. Bhil Government Arts & Commerce College, Naswadi is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. The famous Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam is only 35 kilometres away from Naswadi. The primary aim of the college is to provide holistic education by charging a nominal fee to the tribal youths, hailing from the remote villages of Naswadi taluka and also to the youths from the families – displaced and rehabilitated owing to the construction of the Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam.
Fortified with a beautiful hillock, the magnificence and serenity of the college premises lend a congenial ambience to the teaching-learning activity. It is further augmented by the use of co-curricular/extra-curricular activities, i.e. Saptdhara, BISAG, UDISHA, SCOPE and Sports to the extent that this teaching-learning activity becomes a bliss, a discourse, a symbiosis for both the teacher and the taught rather than a rigid pedagogic stance.
Thus, we endeavour to equip our students with such a potential as may help them to understand the nuances of human life, bring about their all-round development and also to keep pace with the rapidly changing scenario.
